Trained at the School of Art in Jaén, Juan Ruiz’s artistic journey revolves around continuous experimentation, drawing inspiration from figures such as Jerome Witkin, Nicolás Uribe, and Basquiat, among others. The genre in which his style evolves is figuration. For him, it’s a world to explore, where everything is interpretable, both in form and color. Today his work has been exhibited collectively and individually in galleries and national and international art fairs.
